On November 5, the U.S. Consulate General in St. Petersburg celebrates the 200th anniversary of the day in 1809 when the first U.S. diplomatic representative to Russia – John Quincy Adams – presented his credentials to Emperor Aleksandr I.  U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton sends St. Petersburg her congratulations on this important day.  Watch the video.
